Possible To Restrict Fire Dispatch Reception For Just Sun City Stations 131-133?

I'm located in Sun City and am running a Uniden SDS200 . . . I'd like to monitor relevant Fire Dispatch for the town (fire stations 131, 132, 133), but monitoring dispatch via Regional Wireless Cooperative > K1-Alarm VHF Patched CH 1 gets me the dispatches for ALL of the Phoenix metro . . .

Is it possible to restrict reception of the dispatches for just the Sun City departments 131, 132 and 133 using tone outs? If so, how? Other options?

There's no other way that I know of. If a channel is patched to another channel then both channels broadcast the very same thing. I don't know of a way to pick and choose what transmissions to receive.

Sorry, but no. The calls are dispatched out on the same freq (154.190) and TG (1795) as much of the rest of the Valley and no two-tone codes are used for this (other than some callas at Sky Harbor).

The best you can do is listen to the local operations channel. These tend to be more regional in use.

And don't forget that with the automatic aid agreements, if a Sun City unit is already out on a call, the next closest station will get it. That could be Peoria, or even El Mirage. Peoria E194 at 99th and Olive Aves may be closer to some areas in southern parts of Sun City than E132 or E133 at 111th and Grand Aves to start with.

If you do not mind missing the initial radio call, you can install the app "PHX Incident Alert" on your Android phone and program it to only alert you when specific engine numbers are dispatched. I use this to monitor Scottsdale fire activity by programming all of the 6XX units. You can then tune a radio to the active tactical frequencies or turn on dispatch to listen for any specialized or mutual aid units or greater alarm.

I was testing a Google Voice/Translate listener for this. I was hoping it'd be clear enough to decipher words and create automated logging. Didn't seem to be accurate enough though. Maybe I'll look at it again when I have some time.

I'm wondering if you could do what you want by going into Tone-Out Standby and programming the tone-out for the stations of interest.

Does anyone maintain a current tone-out listing for Phoenix FD stations?

Phoenix Regional Dispatch does not use Two-Tones except for some specific calls at Sky Harbor. Most calls are just voice-simulcasted on TG 1795 and VHF 154.190, with station alerting over their CAD system.

Specific two-tone calls only apply for specific calls at Sky Harbor Airport and near the 44th Street and Washington Street Sky Train Station, any Aircraft Rescue Assignment up to Alert 3 and Aircraft Down called in by Air Traffic Control (Heard Two-Tones for Aircraft Down in Tempe), and specific calls for Battalion 161 from the Tolleson Fire Department.
