Here is a new one for me. 164.300 Analog PL 100.0 aircraft "protect 27". I could not receive the other side of the communication.
Maybe US Coast Guard CG-114?

I found one here in Kansas city, 165.9750 CTCSS of 167.9, it sounded like they were in the room with me. One side was Analog ENC the other was in the clear.
Also this one isn't federal but i got a close call hit one 157.000 P25 and can find no info for it any where around missouri.
New one for me:
167.875 NAC 150 in Albany, NY, area. Very little traffic.

157.0000 is VHF Marine Channel 20.
Depending on where you are, this can be Simplex or
used as an input to 161.6000 Mhz as a Repeater.
Any NAC for this ?
No NAC i had the 396 at the time.
When i got that hit there where 2 guys talking back and fourth about work and driving home. They were out of range quick. i have had it in my scanner but no hits after that day.
I had this in my database from the late 90's (when I lived in the Hudson Valley) as DOE/NRC. I do not know how accurate that is now, but I think I was confident enough t the time to confirm it. Scanner Master listed it as that as well. Of course this was analog at the time (and repeated), but I did not record a PL.

Good one Dave, caught this one too on my way to Toronto over the weekend. Lots of Notes to deceipher before posting this week.
167.8750 is being used in P25 mode by one of the DOE agencies (WAPA) for their interconnected repeater network that spans from the Central Valley up in to the Sierras. NAC 293; the input is actually DCSQ. So the agency assignment is still true in some regard,I had this in my database from the late 90's (when I lived in the Hudson Valley) as DOE/NRC. On the West Coast I've confirmed a different input for USSS Tango.166.5625 $001 - Secret Service - input to TANGO
