One is my Metro Area and another is a MilAir I put together.

Everytime I try to goto this group I get:
Sorry, this group is available to members ONLY.
You are not allowed to access this group.

Anyone know why?

Yes, I have had the same problem, it doesn't give you an option to join the group.

Im moving to Colorado in October and thought it might be a good group to check out.

New membership into ScanColo has been closed for months but don't worry there are lots of other reliable sources, including right here>.

Was that the whole deal around the posting of the Aurora info?

Ya, Thats why! Like it was top secret info. I was wrong but I don't think getting banned was called for.

Oh well, live and learn

Is that your site? If so, very cool if I do say so myself.

The guy who owns the site hosts my online publications and radio specific files I release since I don't have a lot of time to maintain a site myself these days. The webmaster is also a great resource for verifying information in the Southern portions of the metro area and does an excellent job of watching the progression of new Aurora system.

Updates are currently in the works. Data collected from the new PRO96COM control channel utility program will definately impact the DTRS scanlist info, p96 file and the pending ARC250 file.

I released 2 files in August for the general public. Metro Trunked and Metro Conventional both are at:

http://www.radiohacker.com/scanlist/

File links are in the middle of the page along with other area related list files.

In your Conv. file there are RX modes CT/DC with # to the right. Can you explain what these are and how you got the #'S?

Thank you

Jay are you referring to 127.3, 156.7, 146.2 etc? Those are CTCSS and or more often referred to as PL tones. "Private Line". They are listed in many published sources and you can also track and search them out with many commercial tone finders.

I'm not an electrical engineer but the analogy I like to use is multiple towing companies all operating on the same frequency lets say 464.125 but even though they are on the same frequency they never hear each others transmissions because there radio send a subaudiable tone (PL) each time they key up>> Following me yet?

So numerous agencies can basically use the same frequency without interferance, some examples include 153.845 used by Gilpin and Morgan Counties and 155.025 used by Clear Creek EMS & EMS and CU PD in Boulder. As a test monitor those frequencies with PL programmed in and turned on and PL turned off.
