Looks like a strike will happen. So rail frequencies will be pretty quiet. I did hear that the maintenance groups will be active in some of the yards doing some general repairs while the tracks are inactive. !60.785 is a common one used.

While there may be some reduction in train movements, management and other non-union workers will probably be brought in to keep critical traffic moving.

The CPKC US operations will not really be effected in the KCS end as this isn't a US issue, it's just a Canadian thing as I understand it. Not to mention the Mexican end of the deal. Just gonna be bad for anything out of Canada. And same with CN/IC as technically CN doesn't operate in the USA. (Great loophole for getting out of lawsuits they use.)
