POTUS/AF1 arriving in San Antonio, Texas Wednesday, April 10, 2019 about 11:30 AM CDT at Signature Flight Support.

For those here in the NE/NC San FrAntonio area - Signature Flight Support can be monitored in analog NFM
Industrial Communications (Passport) https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=3411
Signature FS FBO is Homed to Site#54 NE Loop 1604 (NE-SA) on their own Home Repeater on Ch-06 464.8125a
If you use SDRtrunk you can trunk track Passport TG # 64475 Signature Flight Support - FBO (KSAT Intl Airport)
The easy way to monitor Signature's comms would be to hit Tune and enter 464.8125 in conventional mode FM.
If you can hear the 2 second data bursts being broadcast your good. Most new scanners will mute the data burst.
If Signature is not active then go check for basic site RX on Ch-04 462.0125a HR for just Acadian Shuttles (Busier).

Keep in mind that Signature Flight Support - FBO acquired the old Landmark Aviation - FBO some years ago.
Also when I monitor their comms they talk about 3 different areas they manage on the KSAT airport property.
Signature Flight Support North - located at 557 Sandau Rd, San Antonio, TX 78216 (across from the Pilot Shoppe)
Signature Flight Support South - located at 1115 Paul Wilkins St, San Antonio, TX 78216 (by Air Cargo & USPS)
Signature Flight Support East - located at 10313 Wetmore Rd, San Antonio, TX 78216 ( by FedEx & UPS Cargo)

During past POTUS visits I observed the Boeing 747-200 (VC-25) parked over by Signature East Wetmore Rd term
perhaps they just parked the jet over there due to it is more secluded and private. But Signature South is classier
accommodations followed by Signature North that the Spurs used before moving to South for crowd handling !

I wonder if any POTUS related comms will also be on USAF AF1 A2A 292.8 AM or these 2 RRDB listings below ?
130.00000 WEM3 BM CSQ Landmark Av - Landmark Aviation AM Business
130.57500 KMG8 BM CSQ Signature FS - Signature Flight Support AM Business

I will not be home to monitor any activities - but will check both Lindsay's KSAT Tower & App/Dep feeds later on .

There were no combat air patrols or any enforcement really going on for the TFR in the area. It was a pretty run of the mill visit and the motorcade was quick up and down 281 to the Argyle in Alamo Heights.

The locals used the San Antonio Bexar County EDACS System:
- Mutual Aid 45 for Alamo Heights, SAPD, and BCSO security at the Argyle
- SAPD TAC-1 for the airport coordination
- SAPD 2-B Traffic for the motorcade

The Secret Service used:
- 165.3750 as the command post at the airport
- 166.5125 motorcade and event protection
- 164.8875 motorcade and event protection

That was really it. There wasn't any other military operations, and no Satcom activity. I saw the C-17 carrying the motorcade support vehicles arrive yesterday morning when I was walking the dogs.

I live 5 miles from the approach end of Runway 13R at SAT, so I caught these photos of AF-1 on final from my back yard.

Thanks for the information. I always heard when POTUS is in the area try to listen on the NORAD and ACC freqs. Nice photos. I have an Air Force One patch my dad got when he work at Kelly. He got to walk threw Air Force One when it was new. It made a stop here going to D.C.

Thanks
Don

12R. I work on a road that parallels the final approach to 12R/12L and have seen a few AF1 lineups now. Yesterday was a fairly typical day, SAPD Eagle was the only real air asset I saw providing air support.

Sorry Man, but it's runways ONE THREE . They changed it a few years ago to match up with an earth magnetic realignment.
