To clarify, it is TRUMP not current POTUS, which means far less radio traffic and advanced preparations for the visit. That said, your best chances of hearing something will be on local or state radios.

I did get some hits on the various USSS single channels which were all encrypted. One of the MARCS XEcomm channels was used for most voice traffic.

Thanks!

Which USSS channels did you hear ?
IT does help out for others who might want to monitor in the future.

Mike 165.2125 Lot of Hash
XRAY 166.400 Audio started was encrypted then silence
Dignitary 172.0625 Lot of hash

I basically dumped all of the frequencies into a bank on my TRX-2 and had it on for a few days.

Thanks, when we are getting visits I set it to record, even though it is encrypted, so I can look at the recordings to get the TGID and RID of the units, it's a great way to help ID unknown encrypted traffic (sometimes).

166.4000 is also known to be the input to some of the local Repeaters and not just exclusive to Dignitary protection

Back when I was working, 166.4 was GOLF frequency and it was used as the rptr input for field offices in Norfolk & Richmond , both of which used 165.85 as their primary frequency. 165.85 was a special freq (sometimes referred to as one of the X-RAY freqs) and was used so as not to interfere with radio traffic in the DC area which used the entire B-C-M-T-O-P lineup.

Mike frequency was the go-to foreign dig channel throughout the US.

I've seen Golf used for many pairings
Papa/Golf, Charlie/Golf, Romeo/Golf
and in a couple of those locations they used multiple NACs on the input, to select the various Repeaters.

NJ and PA used xray as an input too

Ahh the memories
