POTUS to HNL

Anyone know what security service will be using on the POTUS visit? Do they use their own system or do they run off the PACMERS? I dont know much about SS and POTUS ops so anything would be help full.

The Secret Service and WHCA run their own radio systems, but there will be interoperability with local law enforcement.

You could tune into AF1 as it arrives and departs. Look like he'll be leaving DC in a few hours, between 2345-0015Z. It will probably take about 8 hours to get there. Listen to 292.8 for comms between AF1 and SAM44. There will likely be a ramp freeze at Hickam, it hasn't been posted yet, but that would provide the ETA.

You probably won't unless POTUS is near by. The USSS don't usually run repeaters or very high power on the simplex operations…
