My Father just moved to Powell in Knox county and he sent his scanner back to me here in Texas to program for him. I cannot seem to find any info on Powell public safety. Any help would be appreciated.

I justed wanted to let you know that Powell is part of Knox County. I don't know how this affects their radio communications. I monitor Knoxville and Knox County from time to time from my home in Sevier county and haven't heard anything on their about Powell but I may have missed it since Knox County's radio traffic never stops. Hope this helps. I'm going to search the fcc. Database and let you know if I find something.

After looking around and a little indirect ways of looking up info. I'm pretty sure the Powell will be with Knox county's Public Safety's Trunk system. That's all I can find and I'm probably right. Hope you get everything sorted out.

you will need to program knox public safety trunk system in as RS484 said . i would go ahead and put the other conventional freqs in as well
