Power and GPS Jacks on BC436HP

Hi. Are the Jacks and requirements for power the same on the 436 as they were on the BC396XT?

I am waiting for a reply in a separate three on what GPS and cable I need, but it got me wondering about the power jack in particular and the whether the GPS I buy and may be cable will be applicable for the 396XT and HP-1 as well....

The 436 gets its power from the USB cable. Unlike the 396XT, there is no separate DC-in jack.

No. The BCD436HP uses USB for power and charging.

The 2nd part seems to be a separate question: Yes, you can use the same GPS setup on all those models.
