I have to mount a BC75XL and connect it to an embedded PC inside a box.
I change volume, squelch, frequency etc. only via the USB connection.
Now I have some questions.
Can I power the scanner with only the USB? (NO battery installed)
If the scanner, powered from USB connected to the embedded PC is ON, When I turn off the PC
and then turn it on again, scanner will be on ?
These questions are because i cannot touch the power button on the scanner inside the box
