R8500 Power supply

Anyone know if the 8500 wall power supply suffers from over voltage like the R75?

I did a search and haven't found anything. I guess with no plies and not finding anything on the net, the wall art power supply should be good to go.

The power supply on my R8500 is rated 16 volts @ 1.5 amps. I assume regulation is inside the radio for the power supply jack.
12 volt operation is supported by a different input. The radio has been flawless since 1999 so I would not worry.

Thanks for your reply. Will use the wall wart. Did use it today for a short time testing it out.
