I am in south Kitchener and trying to to diagnose reception issues with my SDS100. Can anyone confirm whether or not this site is active. I can't pick up any control channel from the listed frequencies. I can just barely pick up the Wilmot site which essentially means it's useless to rely on. Cambridge site 16 isn't much better. Not sure what others in the area are experiencing, or if I just have bad reception. I've abandoned the stock antenna and replaced with a BNC based wideband portable antenna with a stupid BNC-SMA adapter. So many different possible causes.

Thanks @Muxlow. Interesting suggestion. Nothing being carried on any of the RR listed frequencies from this system, site Dec Site 16 (Hex 10). Anyone following up on this, or reading, my claim in post 2 is only partially correct. DSD+ still identifies Site 16 as a neighbour (I was confusing it with Hex 10). Would a site be recognized even without a control channel? Or could there be a frequency carrying a CC out there unidentified?

Try posting a screenshot of the DSD screen
Is this the display you might find useful?
Perhaps unknown sites 17 or 19 are local sites that for some reason replaced site 16? But I can't find any frequencies licensed to MRC that aren't already accounted for in TAFL and the RR DB.
