Several months ago, I subscribed to be a premium user as I find this website amazing and very useful for the hobby. I just started running a HIGH quality audio feed for Toronto's CYYZ airport, (Antenna's up 115Ft) I noticed my Icon badge changed from Premium Subscriber to Feed Provider.

I am obvously not looking for money back, I dont care about 30 or so dollars......but I want to know if my feed goes offline, do I lose my Premium Subscriber status since I already paid.. It would be nice to still have the additional badge of premium subscriber up as well.

Cheers!!

In these cases I've always offered to refund the prorated amount back to the feed provider. Let me know if you want the refund. However, if you don't, your subscription will continue to run in parallel so if your feed drops offline during the subscription period you'll still be a premium subscriber during that period.

Don't forget that after the Broadcastify switch, we won't be offering premium subscriptions on RadioReference.com any longer for feed broadcasters because broadcasters will then be part of Broadcastify. We are going to grant a 90 day RR subscription to all current broadcasters on 10/15, but in your case it won't matter since your subscription should be active past that 90 day expiration period.

Lindsay,

Thank you for clarifying that. I'm in the "same boat" as 02blackss and often wondered the same thing. Since I found value in the RR website, I decided to participate with a paid subscription as well as providing an audio feed. I suspect I will continue to do so in the future.
