I just want to go ahead and get a thread going discussing this event. I will be monitoring all the following USSS frequencies: http://mt-fedfiles.blogspot.com/2008/02/secret-service-frequency-list.html The past several days the Secret Service has been using Charlie and Oscar, but all traffic I monitored was digital and encrypted.

When Bush spoke in Columbia, HP used Special Ops 1 for traffic, so watch out for 30864. SLED was also heavily involved last time, with activity both on VHF and Palmetto 800 (11280 last time). Mutial Aid and Law Enforcement Common TGs are also possibilities.

I will also monitor Greenville Co. SD, ITAC/SC TAC frequencies, and Furman Public Safety on the Communications Service Center TRS. You should definitely monitor the Greenville/Paris Mountain cell in "open" mode.

WHat time is AF1 expected at GSP, and when is the motorcade expected to run? I assume he's taking the I-85/I-385 route?

Everyone has to be in the stadium at 6:30. Commencement starts at 7:30, Bush is excepted to speak around 8:00. He could either take I-85/385 or Pelham Road to North Pleasantburg. Traffic will be a nightmare...

9136 is GSP Security. They have tested twice on the Pal800 and always have a problem w/ WT's inside the termanal. Cant seem to hit a tower from that location. There is a chance escort will take the rear entrance to Furman-closer to stadium.

I hear discussion of video problems on that talkgroup 9136. Operating off Cell 19 also.

Plenty of logistical radio traffic on the Furman talkgroups on the 382f system. Parking, security, and whatnot. Using Larry's recommendation of Fleetmap #8, talkgroups in the 211 fleet on that system are Furman related.

Haven't heard anything on county or state groups or freqs related to the visit.

30864 SCHP Special Ops Troop 3 is in use by SCHP on the interstates. They are towing abandoned vehicles from the route now.

6224 Medshore EMS Ch 2 seems to be used for EMS Ops at the event.

Units on 9136 referred to this as channel 1, and talked about possibly changing to channel 12 to communicate with "Spartanburg." They are moving police vehicles from the area and are talking about searching the FedEx terminal, so that must be where POTUS will "de-plane."

54752 Greenville PD 2 it was announced this channel would be used for Event traffic for GPD. GCSO made a similar announcement for one of its channels, but I wasn't clear which one.

460.1250/127.3 PL is the channel GCSO is using for motorcade traffic control.
