The Roanoke event will begin about 7:00pm on Friday. President's motorcade arrived at ROA and advance teams working in downtown Roanoke today. He'll be in Virginia Beach and Richmond on Saturday but don't know any details on those events.

Should be an interesting listening day.

Surprisingly, I'm hearing traffic also on Suffolk PD channel 1G. Doesn't sound like it's patched over from orion. It's definitely highway shutdown coordination for the motorcade on I-264 & I-64.

Obama landed at 6:47pm at ROA airport. Arrived in downtown ROA at 7:08pm.

What would be cool is if you could listen to the secret service. I'm sure their transmissions are all digital encrypted that would probably be a federal offense to listen to.
