President set to visit Phoenix today!

AF-1 will be landing around 9pm tonight for anyone interested. Usually DPS works the motorcade detail, and I'm sure the PRWN will be buzzing with activity - much of it encrypted, but there might be some stuff in the clear.

Also, if you have a digital scanner, set it up to search the 165-168 range. I've heard a few unencrypted P25 comms relating to the Prez on these - one time I heard SS order up some coffee for the first lady .

Should be fun! Feel free to post up any relevant freq's you'll be monitoring tonight!

Cool....Last time he came I heard a lot of activity on A Deck 4 & 5, just for street closures and stuff.

You can monitor the Combat Air Patrol activity if you have a MILAIR capable scanner.

F-16's from Hill AFB are currently providing the CAP activity for El Presidente. In the past, they've rotated amongst a couple of Hill F-16's and Tucson's ANG F-16's.

Active frequencies....271.00 and 282.60mhz

Be sure to plug in 121.50mhz too, just in case they have to scare someone away
