I heard that the Presidential candidates are coming to the Puget Sound Area where I don't know What would be some good frequencies to put into the scanner? I think they well be in town this Wednesday

Don't know how accurate/relavant/encrypted any of them are. Also don't forget to dig up a list of wireless microphone frequencies in case they use wireless mics.

you wont get much there, when bush was here a bit ago they used the bellevue trunking system 99% of the time and some simplex in the 400's anything the secret service carries you cant listen to since its encrypted but they wernt talking on that all....

i was in the building that bush was in so i had a real close look and all my frequency counters were on

just listen to the city trunk for the area they are in, anything simplex you must be close enough and your counter will show you what channel on the handhelds they are using.


I have never found any published data on the secret service or FBI to be true.

for the Barack Obama visit, i believe they are talking on 62928 ("KV PSOPS N1")

and over East Seattle Police Radio, they just said "all units logging on, you are to have hats and bats in your car" . . . in case of protesters i think

what i was saying is that they dont use "special military radios" they piggy back on the TRS in place so when bush was here they used EPSCA when the canidates are here they use Seattle and KC not crazy 155's that were posted in BearTracker back in the 1990's
