DPS Metro Central is active again with closures.

Typo in an earlier post. Flight is leaving around 8:30pm.

271.000 is active again with Combat Air Patrol.

Apparently, it's not being carried on their ASU West tower site, if they're still active. I only hear TG 8001 active.
I'm not close enough to their Downtown campus to hear that site.

That looks like a Chopper freq. Did you happen to hear a call sign?

Didn't catch a callsign. Had the distinct "in the mask" comms sound to it. This freq has been around for a few years as an Combat Air Patrol Air Refuelling Boom frequency. Had two KC-10s orbiting over Phoenix on ADSB during the comms.

The best communications were on the interop groups of RWC for sure. Multiple agencies seemed to provide "spotters" to watch the crowd from high ground and report to the PPD guys down on the street. Still it was kind of interesting to hear the DPS shuffle freeway closures around for the motorcade...very efficient people.
