Pridemark Paramedic Service now serving Louisville

Starting Monday Boulder County Paramedics will stop serving Louisville and Pridemark will move in.

I don't get to that area too often, but will they be dipatched by Boulder FD?
Also, if I remember correctly, Pridemark uses a VHF freq of 153.605, or has that changed?

Yeah Pridemark in Louisville would still be dispatched by Boulder County Red 1. The RR Database should have all the repeated and direect frequencies. And Pridemark has a few more frequencies now.
153.605 is now used by Pridemark in Devner or as their administrative channel. Boulder covering units use 158.985.

I will add 158.985 to my list. I thought Pridemark used a trunking system in the Denver area.

Well I know they used too, but since Arvada fire is not trunked I believe they just thought there wasn't a use for the system. And I don't even believe those frequencies they had for the trunk system are even still licensed to them.

Funny you should mention Arvada. I went to a car show a while back, and a fireman told me they were on the trunked system. I didn't tell him he was wrong.

He probably doesn't even know what a trunked system is, just something he heard at some point.

Yeah he must of over heard an Arvada police officer say their radios were on a trunk system so he assumed fire was too.

154.190 also for Pridemark.

They now have a car in Littleton also and word on the street it Action Care's LFD contract will not be renewed.

They sure seem to be expanding their coverage areas pretty fast.

After thinking about it Pridemark used to be on Lakewood's EDACS system not their own. I remember not really understanding why they would use Lakewood's rather than Arvada's.

I was looking for something else on cityfreq.com, and saw some more listed for Pridemark; 151.1225/151.0025/153.185/153.9725/154.265. I think they were listed with KNS Communications. KNS comm had lots of freqs listed to them. Does anyone know who KNS is? By the way, I was looking into 36.025. This sounds crazy, but it sounded like the RTD buses. I should mention that I don't drink on Sundays.................................lol. If I did, the Bronco game would have been a good reason to get loaded.
