Earlier this week I noticed 142.890 sending out a control channel signal while I was in non-trunking on a Pro-2052 scanner. I reviewed the database under Motorola Trunking systems using: "142.890"
That returned the two Fleetnet sites.
Looking over the primary and alternates, I did not see 142.89 listed as such.
Put the squelch down low tonight and it is still there.
Just wondering what the location may be ? I'm in Toronto and I'm guessing that I'm barely
grabbing on to a Brantford freq.(wishful thinking:roll: ) If not , any ideas ??

142.890 is a Durham Fleetnet channel not a control channel so I don't know what it is you're hearing. The Pro 2052 isn't digital is it, maybe what you are hearing ,if that is the case, is the OPP digital comms on the Durham site.

Sounds like you're hearing the Toronto control channel (142.905). Your scanner is sitting right next to it (15 kHz off).

Slicer: You'll have to forgive mcuipa. He has not been the same since the Leafs were eliminated :)
