Does anyone possibly know what the "C" channel is?
I heard 2 CID units say to switch to the "C" channel and go to tac if that doesnt work.
They came up on tac and 1 of them said he couldnt get on the "C" channel and thought it was because they were to far away. They are off oakdale near old bridge rd.

Sounds like possibly a conventional talkaround or TAC channel. Fairfax has several ch's like this as do many other TRS systems. Comment about being too far away would seem to indicate a simplex, direct talk channel or similar.

Beastie I heard the "Traffic" you were referring to the other night. I said the same thing what the hell is "C"Channel. I wonder if it was the swat encrypt channel.
