Prince William Forest Base on View Tree

That's what I heard someone saying on 148.15 PL 186.2 just a few minutes ago. He was looking for a radio check. I have this programmed as a Civil Air Patrol freq.

Anybody know more about this?

1548- Active again. Jefferson-50 to PW Base. I guess it is CAP, I've heard Jefferson-50 or something similar once before but I'm not sure on what freq.

Jefferson is the Virginia Wing CAP callsign prefix. Back when I was in the CAP we would do lots of SAR training exercises in Prince William Forest Park. We always used the simplex VHF channel 1 freq though, not a repeater, but he could have been doing just that, getting on the repeater for a radio check.
