What radio frequency or frequencies does the Princeton Dinky rail service use? I'm not actually sure if they use any specific New Jersey Transit frequency or have their own.

As an FYI for those who maybe unfamiliar with the Princeton Dinky it is a one car New Jersey Transit train that operates exclusively between Princeton Junction and the Princeton Station which is located on the campus of Princeton University.

I had the same question some time ago, so I asked an NJTransit engineer. His response was that although the "Dinky" is part of the Newark Division, they monitor the Amtrak Northeast Corridor channel (161.01) for delays etc. If a problem developed, they would contact the Newark Division dispatcher on 161.235.

I can confirm that use of 161.235, as if it needed any further confirmation, but it's very rare that they use the radio at all.
