Printing channels off 396XT with ARC-Xt

Programmed a co-workers scanner the other day, and wanted to print out the channels for him to reference what is programmed. The print function shows it would be a 395 page print out. Is there a way without cut and pasting into word, at least into a file that he can see?

Install a free PDF printer so you can print to a PDF file. You can then review the results and print the pages you need.

either a pdf or print to a csv file, then read into Excell or some office clones that read csv or txt files. Now this will allow you to reduce the pages. Now the 396xt and the GRE scanners, you make ANY chanes to the radio and the channels assignments will become different. I wrote some macros for use in Excell that reads the csv file, formates the data and then prints. You are limited to about 52 lines per 8x10 paper so looking at the total radio entries, you can calculate how many pages will print. Best I have found is to print a quick key summary, it will print on a 4x6 card,

I found the .csv function. Not perfect but I think it will work.

You can also use Microsoft XPS Document Writer to print to a file.
