prior conviction codes

I scan mostly pickens county and i always hear dispatch say "The subject has a prior code" when they read out a license check. i was wondering if anyone had these codes

Are these codes the same throughout the state?

I don't think I have ever heard my county use any of these codes but are they in use for all over SC or just certain county's

To answer the question about who uses them-lots! In Lexington County they call them "cause codes."

Since some of the information in the database can be hard to find for new users, what do you guys think about making a SC Basic Scanning Guide in the wiki, sort of like an extension of the sticky "How to Scan The SC Highway Patrol." We could include basic information about how to monitor a general area. Something like: how to find nearest Palm800 cell and respective talkgroups for that area, statewide talkgroups, how to find local conventional frequencies, statewide conventional frequencies, etc.

Since it's a wiki, everyone can offer their input.

Sounds good but when I first started out I knew nothing about the wiki or how to use it.
it took lots of the guys here to pound it in my head to figure it out but it does sound like a good idea though I'm for it.
