How does the ws1080 handle priority scans of a priority talkgroup when mixed with analog priority channels?
Is it actually scanning all the site frequencies checking for activity on those TGIDs? Or does it just check those priorities when the system is scanned?

For example:
Priority Channels
1. Police
2. Fire
3. TGID1
4. TGID2

I'm trying to lessen the blank out time over other transmission when the scanner checks priority channels.

It takes a lot longer to acquire and decode a control channel for a meaningful amount of time compared to checking if a convention frequency is active.

You can control the number of channels scanner per priority interval, which should help if it isn't checking the system for a particular active talkgroup every time.

Your setup breaks one of my rules for best scanning experience: Monitor either all conventional traffic or only one trunked system at a time. An exception might be if the system has incredibly light traffic. Otherwise, going to be doing more of hearing bits and pieces.
