priority scan no channel

i am using a uniden bct15(just got it) and when i try to do a priority on a certain channel i get the screen reading priority scan no channel.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Also, I am thinking of getting the uniden 246T and was wondering if i can use the arc15 software for my bct15 on the 246t? or do i need to get new software for the 246t?

Also, is the connector for the pc cable the same on both of these radios?

What you did was locked out the system with the priority channel.Go into menu and scroll to priority and set the priority to on.
