Priority setting on PRO-106

Hoping for some clarification as I checked the manual and have searched here to no avail. If I have the following system assigned to a scanlist and turn on Priority for one specific talkgroup, will the PRO-106 "interrupt" any of the other talkgroups and immediately switch over to the Priority talkgroup I set?

I'm only interested (hoping) that it does this on this system:

Maybe, if the system administrators have set up those talkgroups as priority on their side too.

So it's determined by the sys admins, not necessarily the scanner? Didn't know that. Might explain why it hasn't apparently worked when I tried setting it.
