Will a scanner like uniden 436 or sds 100 show a private call on a conventional programmed frequency (not in search mode) or does it have to be oft. ie: single frequency dmr. I know trx1 does in tune mode but not as a programmed frequency unless dmr or nxdn is checked off otherwise you just hear noise standing on channel. Thanks.

Not sure about non-Uniden, but Uniden does in search mode.
