Pro-106 1 Sec. Pause

I have pro-106 and when i pause my scanner on a analog talkgroup it takes it about 1 sec before you hear the voice talking.I try this on my pro-97 and there was no pause you would just hear the voice when it comes on.What could this be?

Ck your (DG Int Prime) under advanced settings. It is the amount of time it waits to detect a digital signal. Default is 60, which is 600 milliseconds, Mine seems to do good set at 20. The only drawback with it set low is sometimes you will get a little motorboating at the beginning of a digital signal. Randy

I was interested about this setting too. It looks like that is the correct setting under Win500, Extended Settings, Digital (3rd column), First Setting 'Digital detect Timeout' after I Google searched RR for this 'DG Int Prime' option, and found this thread which was very helpful.
