Definitely check the Priority. Make sure it's off...
And also, just remember that when you're trying to get a digital signal, it's all or nothing (static kills digital). If you're trying to decode a fairly weak signal, your radio will definitely have its problems.
When I'm in the city, listening to local digital comms are a breeze. But when I'm at home (in a rural area) it's a major pain in the a$$. My radio usually ends up being propped up at an awkward angle by the window (just to get a decent signal). And even then, it still doesn't decode all the time....The only real solution (in my case) is to eventually get a base antenna to stick on my roof.
Then there's the opposite...If the signal is too strong, the radio will also have a problem decoding comms. If that's the issue, you can just turn on the Atteunator and that usually fixes the problem.
But whatever the case is, I hope you figure it out. The Pro-106 really is a great scanner (most of the time).
