Pro 106 headset issue

I have a Pro 106, I wanted a listen only acoustic headset to listen to it in one ear so I picked up one on ebay. When it arrived, I noticed it had a 2.5mm listen only end, so I went to RS and got an adapter to 3.5. Plugged it in, and I does not transmit through the earpiece. Everything connects perfectly. I tried it in other devices and it works fine with the adapter. Any thoughts?

The Pro-106 uses a stereo type jack, just get an adapter that is stereo to whatever your ear bud is.

I got a set, used them today. I've used them many times. If you hook your 106 to your pocket with jacket over it and headphones on--1,noone sees what you are listenning to,2- if you walk on a busy road, you wont miss a thing. That volume/squelch knob is perfectly placed. If you really want to hear alot, if you have 2 scanners, get second plug to scanner. Wire it to 1 headphone, the other to the other scanner. Each headphone to a scanner. Talk about getting your ears talked off. Lost it--think I'll make another..New invention! P.S--run the wire between 2 shirts..Prevents it rubbing your skin, and isnt bouncing around in front of you.

If you are wanting to engage both ears, I have really enjoyed using the following for both ears. I connect one to my PSR 500 & the other to my Cobra 25.
