I have the pro-106 and i have the cable and the drivers, using xp and win500. I signed up for premium on RR and i used the web import to import my county info ( Texas->Travis ) I pick the Travis/Williamson... selection and choose the talkgroups i want to listen toand do like it tells me on the wiki and then upload all that to my scanner. All the channels are programmed in and it lets me scan through them , but it says " ** No TSYS! ** " so I decided to choose a couple sites along with the talkgroups. Now it programs them all in and doesnt have the NO TSYS! message flashing , but I still get nothing on the talkgroups. Can anyone help me that knows about using this in the system my county is in. Thanks in advance.

you have objects that are not assigned to TSYS or need to create a TSYS for some of the freqs, objects that you do have programmed

Welcome to RR.com, bugmenot89273!

First a housekeeping item. When you registered for RR you were advised to enter your location, which you have not done, so I urge you to return to your User CP (left side of second blue bar from the top of any page if you are logged in) and edit your profile to include your location (city & state) so it will show automatically in each of your posts. Answers to so many questions depend on the location of the person asking the question. Even though you have announced your location in your first post, it will be lost in all of the rest of your posts unless you edit your profile.

Now, to your programming problem. I would suggest that you set your scanner to the manufacture default settings by power cycling the radio, then press 0, then 2 during the welcome message display. I would then suggest you open your WIN500 software and start with a new template by clicking "File" (upper left corner) > New template.

Once this is done go to this help file and follow all of the instructions from the beginning. Basically, you will be starting all over, but it is much easier to do this than go back and troubleshoot what you have.

Thanks for the response qlajlu, I changed the location as you suggested and I will do as you say with my scanner. The only thing is , im not eactly sure how to do a power cycle.. I'll search the manual and google to find out. Ill post my results when im done.

Edit:
looks like you were telling me how to do the reset just didnt understand, sorry. I went through the first steps with the web import , and while doing it , it comes up with [ Sites ] and [ Talkgroups ] . Now am I supposed to choose the site I listen in on and then choose the talkgroups and then import those settings to my scanner and thats it? Any help is appreciated , thanks
