pro-106 poor VHF Hi reception after upgrade?

Is anyone having issues receiving VHF hi signals after doing the firmware upgrade? I have tried different antennas as well as different locations. 500. 700 and 800 come through loud and clear. Any thoughts?

LONG time issue with the GRE scanners, front end overloads in this band. You should attenuate all your VHF Hi frequencies, this should help improve reception.

The firmware upgrade shouldn't change any of the sensitivity specs. Mine operates just the same as it did before and after a firmware upgrade from a sensitivity standpoint.

Sometimes super-strong UHF/800mhz signals almost don't need an antenna. If you have an early unit, you may want to check that the center-conductor of the bnc connector hasn't come loose from the board.
