While this may be apparent to seasoned object-oriented scanner users, newbies like me are reminded to watch those lockouts on objects you have assigned to both numbered scan lists and your "favorites" list. An example-- here in Manhattan, I sometimes keep Manhattan fire dispatch locked out in List 1, but when I hear the rigs rolling down the avenue, I press my favorites button to hear what is going on. If you use the same object for Scan List 1 and Favorites, it is locked out in both places. So you may want to make sure that all objects in your favorites scan list are set up under separate object numbers than those you have programmed into your numbered scan lists and are exclusive to the favorites list.

Sounds like a veteran for object-oriented scanner, great tip.
