PRO-106 Programming

I’m new to the trunked systems. I am trying to program a system into my PRO-106. Do I have to put all the frequencies in or just the control frequencies. I was trying to find a software program to make it easier but have had no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated. The instruction manual isn’t much help.

The control frequencies for the tower site(s) in your area you want to monitor should be all that you need.

Regarding software for the PRO-106, my choice back when I had one was PSREdit-500. It has a 30-day free trial and works with Windows 10.

It depends on the type of system you want to monitor. The above statement is true for most, but for example, you must program all frequencies for an LTR type system.

Having the software is one thing - but having a good manual is also important. Here's one that a lot of folks use...

And as to having all the frequencies programmed - EDACS systems require this, too, not just LTRs
