Need a little help. After a PC re-work, I'm trying to get my Pro106 set up via Radio Reference freq's. I can see the listings but am uncertain as to how to get them Imported for downloading to the unit. Mikey60 was great help back in Jan., but it looks like the format has changed in RR site setup.

Thanks for any assistance. I really look forward to getting the scanner set up so I can see what freq's/names are being rec'd.

Thanks to anyone for their assist

There shouldn't be any changes that would affect downloading unless you are trying to get alpha tags. Not all software does that, but it will default to the description. Of course, you do need :Object Oriented Scanner Software - The RadioReference Wiki

If you're using PSREdit500, you should still be able to download the data. The latest release supports the most recent updates to the web service.

You fail to mention which software you are using. All of the software for the Pro-106 has an Import utility that should work without problems for importing from RR. You have already been given some advice on the PSRedit-500 and here is an illustrated help file to show how to import both trunked systems and conventional frequencies WITH tags using WIN500 which I feel is the best software for this application.

Are you refering to the new version of RR which rolled out after Jan. You stated that you last were here in Jan. The look has changed but all functionalitly is still here. In software just import for RR enter your userid and password then select what you want to import. From the software point the changes on RR should be transparent. Dont know what RR setup your talking about.
