When the Pro-106 used to be regularly priced at $499.99, it would occasionally go on sale for $399.99. Now that $399.99 is the regular price, will it ever be on sale for a lower price?
Yes, I'm nearly certain about it.When the Pro-106 used to be regularly priced at $499.99, it would occasionally go on sale for $399.99. Now that $399.99 is the regular price, will it ever be on sale for a lower price?
And there was another discount at that same time which could be combined with it (friends and family or coupon of some sort) which brought the price down to $279.99 (not including tax). That was in the fall of 2008.Yes, I'm nearly certain about it. Shortly after it first was introduced, it was on sale for $299.99. Now that they have lowered the normal price, the new sale price should be closer to that initial sale price again.
Radio Shack usually has a sale on Scanners in August near Labor day, but we will have to see if Best Buy will have taken over by then.
I agree, Falcon, especially with the extra accessories included - the PRO-106 doesn't even come with a charger, which is silly. They might as well make you buy the antenna too!If you can find a new 106 for cheaper than $300 (on Ebay or anywhere else) then buy it!
My 106 is in new condition, and also comes with rechargeable batteries and a charger. I think $300 is a fair price.
Notice that the PRO-94 is the only trunking scanner and it is analog. Also notice that the seller does not accept returns. Also notice that there are only 4 scanners not 7.
