I would like to know how to assign banks on this scanner, Thanks for any help on this matter.

You can also use Butel's ARC 500. It is an easy program to use. Also they are called lists, but nothing is lost if you think of each list as a bank. If you think in those terms you have 20 "banks." The only difference is that scanners with banks have limits for each bank, for example the Pro 163 and 164 have 10 banks and 100 conventional frequencies can go in each bank. Trunking gets a bit more difficult. But with the 106 you can put in a ton of conventional frequencies in each list/bank. Trunking will be a bit different.
