I have a friend's pro-106 that I am working on fixing, however I don't have the service manual with the schematics for the radio. Does anyone have a digital copy they would be willing to share with me?

I was able to obtain a Pro-106 service manual very easily from Radio Shack a couple of years ago. I sold that scanner a while back and the CD went with it.

It was Radio Shack's RSU part number 10822724 and I think the CD was around $5 plus shipping.

As I recall at the time, you had to order it from a company owned store, and....... find someone behind the counter that would be willing to do it for you, and hopefully that person would know how to use the RSU (Radio Shack Unlimited) parts ordering system.

Meeting those last two conditions might be a pretty tall order at Radio Shacks these days

Hi guys, I found those threads you're talking about where folks were able to buy the service manual from Radio Shack, but I just called and tried, and they don't seem to sell it anymore. I don't know if it's the buyout, or just too old, but the lady wasn't able to help me.

Do you guys have any other ideas? I'm in the same boat, except I accidentally broke somebody else's scanner, not even my own, so I'm trying to fix it for him.
