Anyone know if the length of time the 106 waits until it unmutes the
speaker after correctly decoding a Motorola TGRP code is adjustable?

I have a 1/4 to 1/2 second delay between the time the 106 captures the
code (as indicated by both the alarm light and display activating
simultaneously with code capture on Trunker and on other scanners) and
the time the speaker unmutes and audio is heard. Kind of irritating
because I often miss the first part of callsigns, etc. (was that Squad
1 or Tac 1?) that I can hear on my old BC-235.

Disabled all Priority settings. Tried setting the Motorola sub-audible
start delay to 1 on Win 500 with no effect. Also tried the FM Unmute
Delay function on Sweeper with no effect. None of the other Global or
advanced options seems to fit the bill.

Probably overlooking something simple, but this one has me stumped
Thanks in advance for any ideas.

"DG Int Prime" in the PGM FUNC GLOB menu. Decreasing that value will cause analog transmissions to "unmute" faster. However, as you decrease it, you increase the likelihood of "motorboating" on digital communications.

Thanks much Don. Cut the value to 30 and that seems to work. Havent tried P25 yet so not sure if the value is too small for good capture/decode.

Never would have considered trying that command.
