Pro-107 antenna - stock or 800MHZ

Pro-107 antenna - stock or 800MHZ? I was told the 800mhz antenna was better but do not really see a difference - anyone using another antenna on this scanner?

How close (miles) are the systems you want to monitor.?
Are you around a lot od buildings?
Try the stock antenna, if reception is poor, get the 800mHz antenna

I believe the 800MHz picks up the 400 freqs better for some too. From what I've seen posted on here in some forums.

I agree with KC5 if poor reception use the 800MHz. I believe there is an antenna forum on here to.Just go under CP and look for Antennas and Coax and you will find loads of information there.
