I'm just going to assume that was a feeble attempt at humor again by you, but thanks for the lack of input larry..... If you've read anything about the radio it is actually for those who know less about scanners as it is more easy to use striaght out the box with little or no knowledge of scanners or even what a TRS is. I however purchased it as a traveling radio as it will save me much programming time when traveling outside the state and ofcourse because it was a new toy to be had.
to everyone else: it is working great so far, no complaints, the rr.com database for SC is rich with information and great alpha tags in the midlands. Hoping we can get some more conventional freq entered in, but we are great on the TRS (Pal800) side.
