Pro -107 software glitch

Is there a correction for the software glitch that when the Pro-107 is scanning the display "Now Playing" partially disapears and the unit stops receiving although it appears to continue scanning?
Did it get corrected by the manufacturer above some serial number in the production?
If you return it to Radio Shack for repair will they correct it?

Radio Shack is useless with scanners, What I would do is checked for a firmware update from radio shacks support page, then do a factory reset but make sure your stuff is backed up first.

I used to have that same problem with the initial Pro-107 scanners I had. After upgrading the firmware, I haven't had this problem (except one time).
