PRO-107 Squelch Setting

Gentlemen,

Caution: dumb question to follow. The squelch control on my PRO-107 doesn't seem to have much effect. At either full CW or CCW, I don't get the continuous hiss that I got with my old scanner (now long-gone) when the squelch was set too low. I am running at full CW. Is that the high or low-squelch setting? The graphic around the control knob is ambiguous.

I would try to set the squelch settings different on the set up program.
