how many of you out there have this one? what do you think about it? I am new to the scanner world. I recently purchased this one at my local R.S. and thought the price was pretty fair. Id love to hear your thoughts!

Have had one for a week or so. Nice radio, easy to program. Audio has a nice solid sound to it. Good reception on VHF low & hi, UHF also. Not exceptional but good. Will have to watch the battry connection between the cover and the compartment, loss of contact will be a real problem. Listen to fire, trains, tugs and once in awhile hams and planes.

well I just exchanged it a few days ago and upgraded to the pro 164 triple trunking to try to pick up my city's police and fire calls.
