pro-162 and pro-164

hi all i was wondering what the difference is of the pro-162 and the pro-164 and what you all think of them !! i.e. volume, reception,milair, ease of use , etc. should i get both or are they pretty much the same !??

I had the Pro-164 and took it back a few days later. The useability on the Pro-162 is far better. I liked it so much I later went out and bought a Pro-160 (the desktop version). I have an older Pro-2055 which has a very similar firmware/useability of the 164 and I really don't like it.

As far as reception, mil-air, etc. they're pretty much the same.

Wish I had got a 162 before they stopped selling them. I had a PRO97 before so it was really easy to go to the 164, but I also got a 160(desktop version of the 162) on closeout. I'd get the 162 if I could find one because of the display and the 20banks/50channels instead of the 10banks/100channels like the 164 and I like the menu/userfriendlyness of the 160/162 better. My 164 does receive better than the 160 does, seams like it anyway.
