PRO-164 firmware??

I notice that the GRE PSR300 has a firmware update of G1.07 for their version. Just wondering when RS will catch up and update their radio. Anyone know?

I know that GRE is more customer responsive on issues like this, however, the last firmware update, RS had their update before GRE.

I own the Pro-164 as well. In their early updates (1.02, 1.03) it was about 3-4 weeks after GRE but, as you say, they are getting faster.

If I remember correctly the 1.06 firmware was on Radioshack's site a couple of days before it was on the GRE site but my memory could just be fluffy enough to be making that up for my benefit :wink:

Edit: this is intended to be a fun post pointing out that sometimes things happen in random order due to the size and make up of the companies involved. (and thanks to my wife for pointing out that it may not have come across as that).
