Ok, my dumb question for the night/morning. I have a Pro-164 Handheld Scanner. Sometimes my kids are a little..haha...loud. I have a pair of Logitech PC Speakers that are amplified and have a subwoofer, which I can turn down. My question is, would it be safe to plug the speakers into my Pro-164 headset jack? Only difference I can think of would be that the PC Speakers have a stereo jack, and I'm sure the 164 only does mono. I just want to make sure there are no problems doing this. At least this way I can turn it up and hear my scanner over the kids lol! Any input would be appreciated. :p

With those speakers you are just going to add more noise to your house. Why not just use a headset?

All RS scanners let you use a stereo plug to monitor the HT's. It won't be a problem, other than the low output of the headphone jack.
