Trying to monitor Puyallup Police in Pierce county Washington, it is a trunked system I live within the city limits. I cannot get my radio to work with RR frequencies. I have programmed them in over and over, went to other wbsites, studies trunking. I just have never found the control frequncy. The ones on RR are silent.
Does anyone out there have succes? I can monitor regular channels just fine.
PS yes I have the right cable software ect.

Remember to only put the Puyallup Simulcast site in as well. Putting both won't work if Puyallup units don't use the Tacoma site.

It's not as complicated as I thought it would be as I am used to Unidens, so here 's how.

1. Connect your Scanner and download the programming to Win 97.
On the top bar click on "Scanner" then click on "Download from Pro-164", eTc.
Save the download.
2. Go to Channels and select an unused Bank. Go to Tag and name the Bank "Puyallup".
Check the Closed box. Go to Type and select "MOT".
3. Enter The Alpha Tags. Name them "Primary" in boxes 00 thru 05.
4. Enter 6 frequencies. Go to Rx Mode and set all freqs to "MOT".
It should look like this,

00 PRIMARY 868.575000 MOT
01 PRIMARY 868.625000 MOT
02 PRIMARY 868.500000 MOT
03 PRIMARY 868.400000 MOT
04 PRIMARY 868.375000 MOT
05 PRIMARY 868.350000 MOT

5. Next enter the Talkgroup Id in the Sub Bank.
Go to the Number 1 and check the circle then check the Box next to it.
Under Alpha Tag in spot 01 enter DISPATCH Under ID Enter 336.
6. Save this Programming and Up-Load to Scanner and Press Scan
to Listen to Puyallup.
